Welcome to occasional ramblings by me, the owner of Beattie, a Bedlington terrier. I try to train her in Obedience, without too much
success, but we love walking, especially in the Lake District ... where the
aim is to complete the
214 Challenge! Canisfamiliaris is a Latin word meaning domestic dog. Read my Online Diary for stories of life with the dog. Beattie was born on 16th May 2006, one of five puppies in the litter. She finally arrived at her new home on 18th July 2006 when she was just nine weeks old. She is a Suffolk Blue Bedlington Terrier. She weighs in at 7.6 kg. She loves food, treats, walks (preferably off-lead) and sleeping on the bed (when she can get away with it!). She detests walks in the rain, grooming and having her tail touched! Alfred Wainwright
