A walk with members of The Wainwright Society. The weather was glorious for this late September walk. Route: The walk starts from Heaton Cooper art studios in Grasmere. Walk up Easedale Road and cross a wooden bridge across Easedale Beck. A well-worn p[ath leads up to Easedale Tarn. From here take a path that ascends to the left of Blea Crag. Climb up to the summit of Blea Rigg. From here follow a winding path along the wide ridge to Silver How. Descend southwest off the summit to a wall and follow this down through Kelbarrow emerging on to the Red Bank road at Faeryland. Walk back into Grasmere and the starting point.
