A circular walk from Patterdale, climbing Glenridding Dodd and returning via Keldas, Lanty's Tarn and Grisedale. Generally a cloudy day with occasional sunny intervals. Route: From Patterdale Old Police Station, walk along the main road to Glenridding. Using the old mine road, walk up the valley before ascending Glenridding Dodd via Blaes Crag to the col and then a final pull up to the summit. Descend by the same route and cross Glenridding Beck and ascend to climb Keldas before walking alongside Lanty's Tarn and down into Grisedale. Cross the valley to find a path leading up to a gap in the wall. Turn north-east and follow the wall before heading down to a lane that leads back to the starting point.
