Home page Beattie on Low Fell

Robinson

Starting point: Newlands Hause  (NY 193176)  Distance: 2.65 miles  Ascent: 1311'  Date: Saturday 26th June 2010

This is naked Wainwright bagging!  An ascent of Robinson from Newlands Hause takes about an hour, according to Wainwright.  I was up and down in two hours 15 minutes.  But it was another fell ticked off for Beattie!  I took the photos on the descent.

Route: There is ample parking at Newlands Hause and the ascent is up a steep path to the west of Moss Beck.  Cross Buttermere Moss, often very wet, and ascend to the summit by a good path.  Descend by the same route.
