Starting point: Public telephone box (NY 143211)  Distance: 4.5 miles  Ascent: 1335'

A 'there and back' walk to the summit of Hen Comb.  Mainly, photographs taken at the summit of the fell.

Route: The walk can be started from the Kirkstile Inn (ask permission first), or from Maggie's Bridge NT car park  (NY 134210), if no other parking is available.  Passing the Kirkstile Inn take the bridleway into Mosedale.  Cross Mosedale Beck at NY 137199 and ascend the fellside to the ridge.  The ridge may be followed to the summit of the fell.  Return over Little Dodd to the starting point.
