Home page Beattie on Low Fell

Finningham, Suffolk

We stayed at Finningham over May Day Bank Holiday weekend at Stanwell Farm, a Caravan Club CL* site.  A lovely mid-Suffolk village characterised by its fine timber-framed cottages.  The annual Flower Festival is held at this weekend, which is worth a visit.  There is a superb circular walk from the site about 2.5 miles in length, just right for an early morning stroll.  At this time of the year, there is a fine variety of spring flowers.  An added bonus for Beattie is that she can complete most of the walk off-lead!
*CL site - Certified Location (a site taking a maximum of five caravans)

Graffiti is not new!
I am sure that H Clark had no idea that his handiwork would be displayed for the whole world to see?
